Sometimes the best thing to do is to just make your way like the day is what you want it to be. So I decided that a lovely fresh pitcher of fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice would set us all in a spring like mood. In all I squeezed 6 fresh green limes and 2 fat juicy lemons. Into this fragrant liquid I stirred 1 1/4 C. sugar and 2 quarts of filtered water. It was wonderful poured over crackling ice.
It for a moment helped you to disregard the pouring rain and the blowing trees of the day. Even though you were wearing a sweater and it was May Day.
